  • What Programs are Available?

    DePaul University Global Gateway Program offers a choice of pathways, depending on whether you are looking for undergraduate or graduate entry and your English language level.

    For those students who meet the English language and academic requirements, direct admission to undergraduate or graduate programs is available.

  • What Are the Teaching Methods?

    You will be encouraged to take an active part in seminars and tutorials, where you will discuss course content. Small class sizes mean you will receive individual attention from our experienced and supportive tutors.

Housing

  • What Housing is Available?

    Undergraduate students enrolled in the GGP are required to live in the University Center of Chicago, and graduate GGP students may choose to live here as well. The UCC is a large, modern housing and dining complex on the perimeter of the DePaul Loop campus. Once undergraduate students have progressed from the GGP, they may choose to live off campus.

    Your student enrollment advisor will share more information with you about our housing accommodations during the application process.

  • When Can I Book Housing?

    You can book housing once you have accepted your offer of a place and paid your confirmation payment.

  • How Much Does it Cost to Study?

  • How Much Does Housing Cost?

    Accommodation fees vary, depending on the length of stay and which residence you are living in.

Visas

  • Do I Need a Visa to Study in the USA?

    You will need a visa to study in the USA. You can find out more on usa.gov.

  • How Do I Apply for a Visa?

    First, you need to apply for the Global Gateway Program at DePaul University. When you receive an offer of a place, you should accept it by paying your deposit and confirmation. You can then start the visa application process online.

  • When Should I Apply for a Visa?

    You can apply for a USA visa up to three months before the start date of your program. Make sure to start your application early, so there is enough time for it to be processed before you need to travel to the USA.

Chicago, Illinois is located on beautiful Lake Michigan, in midwestern USA. You will find plenty of entertainment, restaurants and culture during your time in the city.
